Application Fee

Application fee is Rs. 1,200/- for each post applied for. Fee is to be paid through SBI Collect under the category "Application Fee (Recruitment)". A copy of the payment receipt must be uploaded while submitting the online application form. SC, ST, PWD, and female applicants are exempted from payment of application fees, as per extant GOI practice. Candidates applying for more than one post must pay the fee separately for each post. Select the institution from the list (search for "Satyajit Ray Film and TV Inst"). In the payment category, select "Application Fees (Recruitment)". Fill in the payment details and proceed with payment. Once payment is done, upload the payment confirmation receipt in the application form. Save a digital copy of the payment receipt for future reference.

Selection Process

Depending on the number of applications received, eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for a trade test and/or interview, as applicable to the post. Since it is not possible to call all eligible candidates, shortlisting will be done based on criteria fixed by the Institute at the time of scrutiny. The decision of the Institute regarding shortlisting and selection is final and binding. The notification does not specify separate stages (such as a written exam) beyond trade test and/or interview.
