Eligibility / Qualification
Educational qualification requirements differ by post code. All eligibility criteria, including period of experience, will be determined with reference to the closing date of application, 18.08.2026. Post Code Post Qualification and Experience DR/01 Scientific Assistant/C (Psychologist) Graduation in Psychology with minimum 60% marks, PLUS Post Graduation in Applied Psychology/Psychology with specialization in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology with minimum 50% marks. Minimum one year Hospital/Clinical experience after acquiring the postgraduate degree will be given preference. DR/02 Scientific Assistant/B (Pathology) B.Sc with minimum 60% marks followed by postgraduate Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) with minimum 60% marks, OR B.Sc (Medical Lab Technology) with minimum 60% marks. DR/03 Scientific Assistant/B (Radiography) B.Sc (Radiography) with minimum 60% marks, OR B.Sc with minimum 50% marks plus one year Diploma in Radiography. DR/04 Scientific Assistant/B (Nuclear Medicine Technologist) B.Sc with minimum 60% marks plus DMRIT/DNMT/DFIT (Diploma in Medical Radio-Isotope Techniques/Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology/Diploma in Fusion Imaging Technology) with minimum 50% marks, OR B.Sc (NMT) (Nuclear Medicine Technology) with minimum 60% marks. Candidates who have not acquired the requisite educational qualification as on the closing date of the online application (18.08.2026) will not be eligible and need not apply. Where letter grades/CGPA/OGPA/SGPA are awarded, candidates must convert these to equivalent percentage as per their University/Board norms and be able to produce proof of conversion at the time of document verification.
Application Fee

Fee not paid on or before the closing date (18.08.2026) will make the application incomplete, and it will be rejected. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances and cannot be held in reserve for any other recruitment. If applying for more than one post, application and fee must be submitted separately for each post.

Selection Process
Selection for all four posts (DR/01 to DR/04) will be based on performance in a personal interview. If the number of applications received is high, BARC reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates called for interview by conducting a screening test in the respective discipline. The decision of the Centre in this regard will be final and binding.
