Eligibility / Qualification

Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of online application (03-06-2026). The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from Govt. recognized Universities/Boards/Institutions. Essential qualification is mandatory for all posts. Candidates should fully satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the minimum qualification and experience as laid down in the advertisement. Educational Qualification Post Name Essential Educational Qualification Library Information Assistant Graduate from a recognized University with Bachelor's degree in Library Science from a recognized University. Technical Assistant (Field/Lab Research) Bachelor's degree in Science from a recognized University with Botany/Zoology/Forestry/Environment/Ecology/Bio-Technology/Genetics/Micro-Biology/Geology/Bio-Chemistry as one of the subjects. Stenographer Grade II (i) 12th Class certificate from a recognized Board; (ii) Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography in English/Hindi; (iii) Certificate Course in computer applications - typing speed of 5 key depression for each word. Technician (Field/Lab Research) 10+2 in Science with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent from a recognized Board. Store Keeper 12th pass from a recognized Board. Technician (Maintenance) - IT / Carpenter / Pump Operator-Cum-Mechanic / Plumber / Electrician Matriculation from a recognized Board with ITI certificate in relevant trade; or Certificate course from a Govt. recognized Institute. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (i) 12th class certificate from a recognized Board; (ii) Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer. Forest Guard 12th Pass with Science from a Government recognized Board. Physical Standards - Men: (i) Walk: 25 Kms. in 4 hours; (ii) Height: Minimum 165 cms; (iii) Chest: 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm with expansion. Women: (i) Walk: 14 Kms. in 4 hours; (ii) Height: Minimum 150 cms; (iii) Chest: 74 cm without expansion and 79 cm with expansion. Note: Appointees will be required to successfully complete Forestry training course from a recognized Forest Guard training institution during the probation period. Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Essential: 10th standard pass from recognized Board/recognized school. Desirable: 3 years or more experience in relevant field.

Application Fee

The examination fee per post is Rs. 1500/- (Rs. 800 Application Fee + Rs. 700 Processing Fee) for General/OBC/EWS applicants. Female, SC, ST, and PwD applicants are required to pay only Rs. 700/- as processing fee - they are exempted from payment of the application fee. The examination fee and processing fee once paid will not be refunded or re-adjusted under any circumstances. Selection Process

The selection process for FRI Group C Recruitment 2026 consists of 3 successive stages - Stage-I: Computer Based Test (CBT), Stage-II: Descriptive Test, and Stage-III: Skill/Trade Test (for specific posts only). Final merit list will be prepared based on marks secured in the CBT for candidates who qualify both the Descriptive Test and Skill/Trade Test (wherever applicable). No interview will be conducted. Shortlisted candidates (05 times the number of vacancies for each advertised category of post) will be called for the Descriptive Test based on their CBT scores.
