Eligibility for AIIMS Rishikesh Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 is assessed as on the last date of online application submission, i.e., 04 August 2026. Below are the key eligibility conditions: Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination by the last date of application submission, with the result declared by that date. The tenure of the qualifying degree must also be completed by the last date of application submission. Candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency will not be considered eligible for these posts. OBC candidates must belong to the Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) as per the Central List of OBC, and their sub-caste must match the entries in that list. The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued on or after 01 April 2026 to be considered valid. EWS candidates must submit a valid Income and Assets Certificate for financial year 2026-2027, issued on or after 01 April 2026 and on or before the last date of application submission, based on income of the year 2025-2026. No age or eligibility relaxation is available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against Unreserved (UR) vacancies.

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online only. The fee structure is as follows: Category Application Fee UR, EWS & OBC (NCL) Rs. 1,200/- + transaction charges as applicable SC & ST Rs. 500/- + transaction charges as applicable PwBD Exempt If a candidate wishes to apply for more than one post, a separate application form must be filled and submitted online for each post.

The mode of selection may be a Written Test, an Interview, or both, as decided by the Competent Authority. The written test/interview will be conducted at AIIMS Rishikesh. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the written test or interview. Candidates working in Central/State Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of the interview. SC/ST candidates must submit a certificate issued by a Tehsildar or an officer of equivalent or higher rank, in the standard Central Government format. PwBD candidates must submit a disability certificate signed by a duly constituted Medical Board of a State or Central Government Hospital/Institution, countersigned by the Medical Superintendent.
