Eligibility / Qualification

Selection Process

The UPSSSC Agriculture Technical Assistant (AGTA) / Technical Assistant Group C Recruitment 2026 selection process comprises shortlisting on the basis of UPSSSC PET 2025 scores, a mains written examination and document verification. Only PET 2025 qualified candidates will be allowed to appear in the UPSSSC AGTA mains exam. Stage 1 – Shortlisting through UPSSSC PET 2025 Candidates must have a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard to apply for the UPSSSC Technical Assistant Group C mains examination. UPSSSC will prepare a list of eligible candidates for AGTA mains based on PET 2025 scores, reservation rules and post‑wise vacancy distribution. Only shortlisted candidates, as per the criteria given in the official notification, will be permitted to fill the UPSSSC AGTA mains online form and appear for the written exam. Stage 2 – UPSSSC AGTA Mains Written Examination 2026 The mains written exam for UPSSSC Agriculture Technical Assistant Group C will be an objective type paper covering agriculture and related subjects as per the prescribed syllabus. The question paper will carry a fixed number of questions and marks (details like total marks, duration and negative marking will be as per the official AGTA notification).
