Selection will be made through Main Written Examination followed by Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test (qualifying in nature). Shortlisting for Main Examination: Based on normalized score of Preliminary Eligibility Test-2025 (PET-2025). Only candidates who have qualified PET-2025 with valid Score Card can apply. Candidates securing zero or negative marks in PET-2025 will not be shortlisted. Main Written Examination: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (Objective Type), 2 Hours duration. Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Commission. Syllabus: Part-1 (85 Marks): History of India & Indian National Movement, Geography of India & World, Economic & Social Development of India, Indian Polity & Constitution, General Science & Technology, Environmental Ecology & Disaster Management, Current Events of National & International Importance, Data Interpretation, Important Legal Provisions & Policies related to Excise in Uttar Pradesh. Part-2 (15 Marks): Knowledge of concepts of Computer & Information Technology and contemporary technological development & innovation in this field. Physical Standards Test (Qualifying): Male: Height 167.6 cm, Chest 80 cm (unexpanded) / 85 cm (expanded). Female: Height 152 cm (General), 147 cm (SC/ST), Weight 45 kg. Physical Efficiency Test (Qualifying): Male: 4.8 km run in 25 minutes. Female: 2.4 km run in 14 minutes. Final selection is based on marks obtained in the Main Written Examination. Physical tests are qualifying in nature. Result of Main Examination and final merit list will be declared on the official website.
