Selection Process
The UPSSSC ASO/ARO Selection Process 2026 is a two-stage process: Stage 1 – Shortlisting: Based on PET-2025 normalized score. Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and have been issued a score card by the Commission are eligible. Candidates with zero, negative, or absent marks in PET-2025 will not be shortlisted. 15 times the number of vacancies (category-wise) will be shortlisted for the Main Exam. Stage 2 – Main Written Examination: 100 objective/MCQ questions, 100 marks, 2 hours duration. Negative marking: 25% (¼ mark deducted per wrong answer). Stage 3 – Document Verification.
