Eligibility / Qualification
Nationality The candidate must be a citizen of India. This condition applies uniformly to all posts under all five advertisements. Educational Qualification Post Name Essential Qualification Director, Directorate of Research / Extension Ph.D. in any branch of Agricultural Sciences or a related field with a consistently good academic record; at least 15 years of Teaching/Research/Extension (T/R/E) experience from a recognized Government institution, of which 5 years must be at the level of Professor or equivalent; minimum 15 research publications in peer-reviewed or NAAS-rated journals. Joint Director, Directorate of Research / Extension Ph.D. in any branch of Agricultural Sciences or a related field; minimum 10 years of T/R/E experience as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor or equivalent, including at least 2 years as Associate Professor or equivalent; minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or NAAS-rated journals. Subject Matter Specialist / T6 (all 9 disciplines) Master's degree in the relevant discipline (Agricultural Extension, Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Protection/allied field, Fisheries Science, Veterinary/Animal Science, Home Science, Soil Science, or Genetics & Plant Breeding) from a recognized university. Working knowledge of computers is desirable. Farm Manager / T4 Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or any other branch of science/social science relevant to Agriculture from a recognized university. Programme Assistant (Computer) / T4 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Computer Application or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Programme Assistant (Lab Technician) / T4 Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or any other branch of science/social science relevant to Agriculture from a recognized university. Assistant Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Stenographer Grade-III 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/University, plus a dictation and typing test at 80 wpm (English/Hindi). Driver / T1 Matriculation pass from a recognized board, plus a valid and appropriate driving licence; must pass a practical skill test. Account Officer Bachelor's and Master's degree in Commerce/Economics/Finance from a UGC-recognized university, OR a professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/CMA from a recognized institution. Assistant Registrar Master's degree from a UGC-recognized university with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade). Selection Process
Non-Teaching & KVK Non-Technical Posts: Selection is based on Academic Score (maximum 60 marks) plus a Written Examination (maximum 180–250 marks depending on the post) plus an Interview (maximum 60 marks). For Stenographer Grade-III and Driver posts, a dictation/typing test or driving skill test is also conducted. Subject Matter Specialist / T6: Selection is based on a Score Card (Academic Qualifications + Research Performance/Publications + Professional Experience + Extra-Curricular Activities), a PowerPoint presentation, and an Interview. A minimum score of 50% (General/OBC) or 45% (SC/ST/PWD) in Parts A+B+C is required to qualify for interview. Director / Joint Director: Selection is based on a Score Card (Academic Qualifications, Research Performance and Publication, Teaching/Research/Extension experience), a PowerPoint presentation on work done and vision, and an Interview. Candidates are shortlisted for interview in a ratio of 1:10 based on merit after screening. Candidates must appear for the written examination; those who do not appear will not be considered for shortlisting. Information about examination dates, admit cards and skill tests will be published only on the university website and recruitment portal, and sent via SMS to the registered mobile number - not through newspapers.
