Eligibility / Qualification
Only women candidates can apply; all posts are reserved for female applicants. Candidates convicted of a moral/character offence, dismissed from any service, or declared insolvent are not eligible. Candidates with physical disability, contagious disease, or serious illness are not eligible for the Care Taker, Peon, Watchman and Assistant Cook posts, since night stay at the school is compulsory for these roles. Maximum age for continued service in a Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya is 60 years.
Application Fee

Selection Process
Selection for teaching and academic posts (Principal, PGT subjects, Care Taker) is made on the basis of a merit/weightage score calculated as follows: S. No. Examination / Qualification Weightage 1 High School Percentage marks x 10/100 2 Intermediate Percentage marks x 10/100 3 Graduation Degree Percentage marks x 20/100 4 Postgraduate Degree Percentage marks x 20/100 5 Training Qualification (Theoretical + Practical) Percentage marks x 30/100 If two or more candidates have equal merit marks, the older candidate (by age) is ranked higher. If merit marks and age are both equal, ranking is done alphabetically by name (English alphabetical order). Selection for Assistant Cook, Peon, and Watchman posts is made through an interview. All submitted certificates are verified with the concerned board/institution before final selection; original documents are kept safe at the District Project Office.
