Selection Process
Selection is merit-based. Candidates must hold a minimum qualification of Intermediate or equivalent. Merit is determined by adding the marks of Graduate or Postgraduate qualifications (where applicable) to the Intermediate or equivalent marks, calculated through the departmental portal as per the method laid out in Clause 7, points (I) to (IV), of the governing Government Order. Unreserved category posts are open to candidates of any caste. Special Category Documentation Widow candidates: A death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Urban Local Body, or a certified copy of the family register, will be accepted. Divorced/deserted candidates: A legal order issued by a competent court will be accepted. Income certificate: Only income certificates issued per UP Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended) by a competent authority, verifiable online, will be accepted. Validity of the income certificate is calculated from the date of publication of this notification. Residence and caste certificate: Only digitally signed residence and caste certificates issued online by the Tehsil, verifiable online, will be accepted. Candidates must declare widow/divorced/deserted status at the time of filling the online application form itself. Claims made after submission, without this declaration in the form, will not be accepted.
