Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the date of notification (02/06/2026). Only candidates who have registered OTR on the TGPSC website are eligible to apply. Applicants belonging to other States are not entitled to any kind of reservation. Criteria Details Nationality / Citizenship Citizen of India / Subject of Nepal or Bhutan / Tibetan Refugee (came before 01-01-1962) / Person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries - with eligibility certificate from Govt. of India where applicable. OTR Registration (Mandatory) One Time Registration (OTR) on TGPSC website (https://www.tgpsc.gov.in) is mandatory before applying. OTR alone is NOT an application for the post. Educational Qualification (as on 02-06-2026) Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a University in India established or incorporated under a Central Act or Telangana State Act, or from an institution recognized by UGC / AICTE, or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (A.M.I.E.). Distance Education / Open University Degrees obtained through Open Universities / Distance Education mode must have recognition from UGC / AICTE / Distance Education Bureau. Proof of recognition rests with the applicant. Result Declaration The result of the requisite educational qualification must have been declared by the concerned University as on the date of notification (02/06/2026). Mere conduct of examination or processing of result does not fulfill the requirement. Local Candidate Status 95% reservation for local candidates applicable for Multi Zone-I and Multi Zone-II posts separately as per G.O.Ms.No.124 GA (SPF-MC) Dept., Dt.30/08/2018. Government Employees Persons already in Government Service must inform their Head of Office/Department in writing that they have applied, and must submit a No Objection Certificate to the Commission when required.

Candidates are required to pay non-refundable Application Processing Fee and Examination Fee through online mode only. The fee once remitted shall not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Selection will be made through Written Examination (Objective Type) conducted via CBRT (Computer Based Recruitment Test) or OMR-based Offline mode, as decided by the Commission. The mode of examination will be notified through web note/press note and in the Hall Ticket. Final selection is subject to document verification and medical fitness. There shall be no waiting list. Stage 1 – Written Examination (Objective Type) The examination consists of two papers totalling 450 marks. Paper-I is General Studies and General Abilities (150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes) in bilingual (English & Telugu). Paper-II is Civil Engineering – Degree Level (150 questions, 300 marks, 150 minutes) in English only. Qualifying marks: OC/Sports/EWS – minimum 40%; BC – minimum 35%; SC/ST/PH – minimum 30%. Mere securing qualifying marks does not vest any right for selection. In case of multi-session CBRT, scores will be normalized as per the Commission's formula (Annexure-VII). Stage 2 – Document Verification Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original certificates. Candidates failing to produce originals will not be allowed to proceed. Government employees must produce No Objection Certificate from their Head of Office/Department. Stage 3 – Medical Examination Appointment of selected candidates is subject to being declared medically fit in the appropriate Medical Examination.
