Where the ITI course duration is less than 2 years, the candidate must have at least 1 year of relevant work experience after completing the course. Eligibility Criteria for Project Affected Persons (PAP) NPCIL has specified separate, relaxed eligibility criteria for Project Affected Persons (PAP) whose land has been acquired for the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project: Plant Operator (PAP): Pass in HSC (12th Std) with not less than 40% marks in aggregate in Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), with English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level. Electronics Mechanic / Instrument Mechanic / Electrician / Fitter / Turner / Machinist / Welder (PAP): Pass in SSC with Science and Mathematics and English as subjects at SSC level, with a 2-year ITI certificate. Where the ITI course duration is less than 2 years, 1 year of relevant experience after course completion is required. PAP candidates whose land was acquired for KKNPP receive 20% of the total marks as bonus marks at all stages of selection to Group "C" posts.
