Desirable: Min. 6 months experience in leather/textile/non-leather product making industry. Project Assistant-II (PA-II) B.Sc. in Fashion Technology/Apparel Technology/Fashion Design/Textile/Leather Design with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: Min. 6 months experience in leather/non-leather product making industry. Project Associate-I (PAT-I) B.Tech./B.Des. in Leather/Textile/Leather Design/Accessories Design/Fashion Design or equivalent. Desirable: Knowledge in Leather/Textile Product Design and Development, Work experience in Leather/Textile Product Design & Fabrication, Pattern Making. Project Associate-I (PAT-I) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering OR M.Sc./MCA in Computer Science. Desirable: Knowledge in documentation, design & development of skill analytics dashboards, AI predictive models; 2 years R&D experience in industrial/academic institutions. Project Associate-I (PAT-I) M.Sc. (Bioinformatics/Chemistry/Biotechnology) OR B.E./B.Tech. (Biotechnology) with minimum 55% marks. Desirable: Knowledge in programming and molecular modeling/simulation. First class degree holders preferred. Project Associate-I (PAT-I) M.Sc. Chemistry/Physics from a recognized University. Desirable: Demonstrated interest in computational chemistry, materials modeling and AI/ML with proficiency in Python programming. JRF or Project Associate-I (PAT-I) M.Sc. Application Fee
There is no mention of any application fee in the official notification for CSIR-CLRI Notification No. 03/2026. Candidates are required to appear in person with the duly filled prescribed Application Form (enclosed as Annexure to the notification) along with supporting documents. Selection Process
The selection process for CSIR-CLRI Notification No. 03/2026 consists of 2 (two) successive stages — a Written Test (qualifying in nature) followed by a Personal Interview. Candidates who qualify the Written Test will be called for the Personal Interview on 25-05-2026 and 26-05-2026. The final selection and empanelment will be based on performance in the Personal Interview. Empaneled candidates may also be considered for future project requirements. Important: Candidates who have qualified in NET/GATE or national level examinations conducted by CSIR/DBT/DST/ICMR/IIT/IISc/IISER/UGC/ICAR etc. need NOT appear for the Written Test. They can directly attend the Personal Interview as per the notified schedule.
