Eligibility / Qualification

Eligibility Criteria: Customer Service Associate (30 Posts) Position Vacancies Education Qualification Sports Qualifications Customer Service Associate 30 Degree in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualifications recognised as such by the Central Government Should have represented a State / U.T. / the country in National / International competition; OR Medal winner in Junior National Championships; OR Medal winner in Khelo India Youth Games (age category above 18 years) / Khelo India Winter Games / Khelo India Para Games; OR Medal winner in Khelo India University Games; OR Medal winner in School Games Federation of India (SGFI); OR Represented University in Inter-University Tournaments; OR Represented State/U.T. School Team in National Sports/Games for Schools conducted by All India School Games Federation. *Relaxation in upper age limit up to a maximum of five years to sportspersons considered meritorious, as per DOPT, Govt of India O.M. No. DOPT-1720781414772 dated 04.03.2020. Ten years relaxation in the case of SC/ST sportspersons. Authority for Awarding Sports Certificate S.N. Competition Authority for Awarding Certificate 1 International Competition Secretary of National Federation of the Game concerned. 2 National Competition Secretary of the National Federation or Secretary of the State / U.T. Association of the Game concerned. 3 Inter-University Tournaments Dean of Sports or other officer in overall charge of Sports of the University concerned. 4 National / Sports / Games for Schools Director or Additional / Joint or Deputy Director in overall charge of sports / games for Schools in the Directorate of Public Instructions / Education of the State. 5 Khelo India University Games / Khelo India Youth Games / Khelo India Winter Games / Khelo India Para Games Officer designated / Officer in charge from Sports Authority of India (SAI).

Application Fee

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online at the time of registration regardless of whether the candidate is shortlisted for Field Trials or not. General, EWS, and OBC candidates are required to pay ₹850/- (inclusive of GST) plus applicable payment gateway charges. SC, ST, ESM/DESM (Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen), and Women candidates are required to pay ₹175/- (intimation charges only, inclusive of GST) plus applicable payment gateway charges. Payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or any other available online payment mode. Transaction charges, if any, are to be borne by the candidate. Once fee payment is completed successfully, an e-receipt and application form will be generated, which should be printed and retained. The Bank will not entertain any refund requests under any circumstances. Selection Process

The selection process consists of two main stages: Shortlisting/Screening of applications followed by Field Trials for shortlisted candidates. In the first stage, applications will be screened against the eligibility criteria including educational qualifications, relevant sports experience, domain expertise, and suitability. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for Field Trials - the Bank may call candidates in a ratio as deemed appropriate at its sole discretion. The shortlisting criteria are internal and confidential and will not be shared with candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Field Trials at a designated venue, the evaluation criteria and qualifying cut-off for which will be determined solely by the Bank. No requests for change of centre, venue, date, or time for Field Trials will be entertained. The Bank's decision on shortlisting and selection at all stages is final and binding. Selected candidates must be Active Sportspersons at the time of joining and fit enough to participate in future tournaments. All selected sportspersons will be required to sign a written undertaking to play for the Bank's team whenever required. Stage Details Stage 1: Shortlisting / Screening Applications screened based on eligibility criteria, sports experience, qualifications, and suitability as determined by the Bank. Criteria are internal and confidential. Stage 2: Field Trials Shortlisted candidates called for Field Trials at designated venue. Evaluation criteria and qualifying cut-off determined solely by the Bank. Stage 3: Document Verification Original documents to be produced at the time of Field Trials / as called by the Bank. Failure to produce documents will debar candidature. Obligations of Candidates Recruited as Sportspersons Obligation Details Playing for the Bank Sportsperson must play for the Bank / Bank's team whenever and wherever necessary. Permission for External Events Prior permission required to participate in State / National / International events for other organisations. Bank reserves the right to withhold permission. Misconduct Refusal to play for the Bank or playing elsewhere without permission will be treated as misconduct and attract disciplinary proceedings. Written Undertaking All recruited sportspersons must give a written undertaking at the time of appointment.
