Selection Process

Selection is done through a merit list prepared as per the evaluation criteria fixed under Departmental Circular No. 4244 dated 12.01.2023 and Circular No. 57871-58286 dated 01.03.2024. Marks are determined based on the documents submitted by the applicant, as per the departmental circular, and the merit/seniority list is prepared accordingly by the concerned project office. Tie-breaking rules (when two or more candidates have equal marks), in order of preference: Preference to widow/divorced candidates; among widows/divorced candidates with equal marks, the one with the youngest date of birth is preferred. Preference to a differently-abled (disabled) woman. Preference to the woman with the highest age. If candidates are still equal on age and date of birth, preference is given based on the highest educational qualification. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/SBC/EWS categories from states other than Rajasthan will be given marks applicable to the General category only. OBC (non-creamy layer) and EWS certificates will be accepted as valid per the format prescribed by the State Government. An Other Backward Class (OBC) caste certificate must not be older than 1 year from the date of application. For Anganwadi centres where SC/ST/Minority population is 50% or more in the coverage area (based mainly on the Anganwadi survey register), selection for that centre will mandatorily be made from a woman of that same category only.
