1) Educational Qualification​ Post Name Educational/Technical Qualification Junior Engineer (Civil) Should possess 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution; OR who possess higher qualification in same discipline from a recognized university or institution Junior Engineer (Mechanical) Should possess 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution; OR who possess higher qualification in same discipline from a recognized university or institution Junior Engineer (Electrical) Should possess 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution; OR who possess higher qualification in same discipline from a recognized university or institution Additional Mandatory Requirement:​ As per Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994, Rule 17: Candidates must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects OR any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language as specified by Punjab Government.
