Age Limit (as on 03-07-2026) YP-3 - Vibration Analyst and Rotor Dynamics Expert: 42 years YP-2 - Blast Furnace Process Expert: 38 years YP-1 (all roles): 35 years Minimum age for all posts: 23 years Salary / Monthly Retainership Fee YP-1: Rs. 70,000/- per month YP-2: Rs. 1,00,000/- per month YP-3: Rs. 1,40,000/- per month An annual performance-linked increment of 4%, 7%, or 10% of the monthly fee applies based on Centralized Performance Committee (CPC) recommendation. Additional benefits include residential accommodation, medical facility, travel entitlements, and communication expense reimbursement.

Screening of applications for eligibility. Selection through Computer Based Test (CBT) and Personal Interaction, or Personal Interaction only, depending on the post. CBT: 100 MCQs in 90 minutes - 50 on Technical/Professional knowledge, 50 on Aptitude. Shortlisting for Personal Interaction in ratio of 1:3 based on CBT merit. Final merit list: CBT and Personal Interaction weightage of 80:20. If Personal Interaction only, minimum qualifying mark is 50%.
