SalaryThe Medical Officer (E02) and Specialist (E02) posts carry a pay scale of ₹70,000-3%-2,00,000, while the Specialist (E03) post carries a pay scale of ₹80,000-3%-2,20,000. In addition to Basic Pay and DA as per the Industrial DA pattern, selected candidates will receive Perks (35% of basic pay), Non-Practicing Allowance (20% of basic pay), Performance Related Pay based on Company and individual performance, Company accommodation or HRA, medical facilities for self and dependent family members, Post-Retirement Medical Benefit, Leave Encashment, Pension as per NPS, Contributory Provident Fund, Group Insurance, and Gratuity, as per Company Rules.
Age LimitSpecialist (E03 grade): Maximum 38 years as on 17/08/2026 Medical Officer & Specialist (E02 grade): Maximum 35 years as on 17/08/2026 Internal candidates on the immediate lower scale of pay: No upper age limit, subject to Company Rules Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC(NCL), 10 years for PwBD-UR, 13 years for PwBD-OBC(NCL), 15 years for PwBD-SC/ST candidates Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC(NCL) is subject to availability of a post in that particular category Ex-servicemen and family members of those who died in the 1984 riots will get relaxation as per Government of India directives Maximum upper age of any applicant shall not exceed 56 years, including all possible age relaxations

Eligibility / Qualification

Eligibility is assessed as on 17/08/2026. Post Qualification Experience Medical Officer (E02) MBBS. PG Certificate in Industrial Health approved by DGFASLI preferred. 4 completed years of post-qualification experience as a doctor in Govt./PSU or a reputed/leading hospital/organization Specialist - Orthopedic/Radiology (E02) MD/MS/Recognized post-MBBS Diploma in the respective discipline Nil Specialist - Ophthalmology/Radiology (E03) MD/MS/Recognized post-MBBS Diploma in the respective discipline 3 completed years of post MD/MS/Recognized Diploma experience as a specialist doctor in Govt./PSU or a reputed/leading hospital/organization Candidates who have been in self-practice must upload their valid medical registration along with the registration of the clinic or nursing home for the relevant period, while providing details of their experience. All qualifications must be from a UGC-recognised Indian University/Deemed University or AICTE-approved courses from autonomous institutions/the concerned statutory council. Where CGPA/OGPA or a letter grade is awarded, candidates must indicate the equivalent percentage as per norms adopted by their University/Institute and attach documentary proof. Application Fee

There is no application fee for any category of candidates applying for the Medical Officer and Specialist posts.

Selection Process

Shortlisting is done based on the information/declaration submitted by the candidate at the time of online application submission If any false declaration is found during document/experience verification at the time of the Personal Interview, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the interview, and no TA will be paid Assessment is made through Personal Interview only Selection is based on interview performance, organizational requirement, and vacancies to be operated Meeting the advertised eligibility criteria alone does not entitle a candidate to be called for a Personal Interview; NALCO reserves the right to raise minimum eligibility standards to restrict the number of candidates for assessment
