Assistant Foreman (Trainee) (Electrical)/Electrical Supervisor, T&S Grade-C Diploma (minimum 3-year course) in Electrical Engineering from a Government-recognized institute, and a valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate for Mines issued by the Appropriate Government. Candidates with other equivalent qualifications approved by the Central Government, or a higher qualification in the respective discipline, are also eligible. For Mining Sirdar, candidates with higher statutory competency certificates issued by DGMS are also eligible. Degree/Postgraduate/Diploma qualifications acquired through distance learning/part-time mode (or their equivalent) will not be considered. Since these vacancies are for both UG and OC mines, candidates holding restricted competency certificates are not eligible. Selection is through a Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by document scrutiny/verification and a medical examination. WCL CBT Exam Pattern 2026 The CBT consists of 100 questions: Part 1 – General Aptitude (20 questions); Part 2 – Technical (80 questions). Each question carries 1 mark. Duration: 90 minutes. Questions are multiple-choice with four options. There is no negative marking; no marks are awarded for unattempted questions.
