SalaryAdministrative Officer-E is a senior-level position with a competitive pay package under the Central Government pay matrix. The total monthly emolument figure already factors in all applicable allowances at the time of advertisement. Component Detail Pay Level 12 Pay Stage 01 Total Monthly Emolument (TME) ₹1,61,240/- Candidates may also be required to work in shifts, beyond standard office hours, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays as per the operational requirements of the Centre.

Eligibility / Qualification

Educational Qualification Candidates wondering whether they qualify will find two alternate paths to meet the educational requirement. Both options require a minimum aggregate of 60% marks from a recognised university or institute. Option A: Post Graduate degree in Management or Administration from a recognised University/Institute with an aggregate of 60% marks. Option B: Graduate degree from a recognised University/Institute with an aggregate of 60% marks, plus a Diploma / Degree / Certificate course in Management or Administration. In addition to the above, all candidates must possess: Knowledge of Rules and Guidelines for General Administration and Finance as followed by Central Government or Central Autonomous organisations. Proficiency in the use of personal computers and related applications. Essential Experience Prior work experience in a government pay structure is mandatory. Candidates must meet one of the following: 10 years' experience in Level 9 (with equivalent TME), OR 7 years' experience in Level 10 or higher (with equivalent TME) Age Limit The maximum age limit is 50 years, reckoned as on 1 January 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for reserved categories, though this post carries no reserved category reservation at present.

Selection Process
