M.Sc. / Integrated M.Sc. / B.S-M.S. (Dual degree) / B.S. (with fourth year Research) in Physics, Chemistry or Life Sciences with required subject combinations and aggregate marks, along with valid national level examination as specified

Application fee of ₹500/- is payable at the time of submission of online application. Mode of payment of the application fee is online only, using net banking, debit card, credit card, UPI, etc. Application fee is exempted for Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Person with Benchmark Disabilities. After submission of the online application, the applicant has to make online payment of application fee using the Application Number generated; applications without fee payment will be treated as incomplete and rejected. Candidates must use the ‘Make Payment’ option under the ‘My Account’ menu to pay the fee, selecting the generated application number from the drop-down list. Detailed guidelines for payment of application fee are available under the menu “How to pay Application fee.” Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances and cannot be held in reserve for any other recruitment. Application fee should be paid on or before the last date of receipt of online application.

Applications will be scrutinized and candidates will be screened in for interview based on eligibility as per the national level exam and their score in the qualifying exam. The number of candidates to be called for interview will be decided by the Selection Committee. Final selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the selection interview only. Allotment of research project will be on the basis of performance in the selection interview; in case of a tie, marks obtained in M.Sc./B.Sc. will be considered. The recommendation/decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding.
