Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates must meet the following essential qualifications, prescribed as per UGC Regulations 2018 (and subsequent amendments): An eminent scholar holding a Ph.D. degree in the concerned, allied, or relevant discipline, and actively engaged in research. A minimum of ten (10) years of teaching experience in a university or college, or research experience at an equivalent level. A minimum of ten (10) research publications in peer-reviewed journals, or journals indexed in Scopus/Web of Science, or UGC-listed journals, with the applicable total research score. Evidence of academic leadership and of securing sponsored research projects. A relaxation of 5% is provided at the Master's level for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwBD candidates.

Selection Process
A Scrutiny Committee constituted by the university will screen all valid applications using a point-based system. Shortlisting will be based on validation of the Academic/Research Score (API Score) as specified in Appendix II, Table 2 of the UGC Regulations 2018. Only candidates meeting the minimum required cumulative research score across categories (teaching, research publications, projects, patents, and policy documents) will proceed to the interview shortlist. Candidates must present verified proof of these at the time of interview. The Scrutiny Committee will independently verify the impact factor and indexing (Scopus/Web of Science/UGC-CARE) of submitted publications. Shortlist ratio for interview: For 1 vacant post, the top 20 eligible candidates based on the score matrix will be called. For every additional post, 5 additional candidates will be called. In case of a tie in scores at the cutoff mark, all tied candidates will be called for interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA will be paid for attending the selection process. Only email will be sent to shortlisted candidates for interview calls.
