Selection Process
Selection for all MPYPIL posts (Junior, Senior and Higher Management) is through Interview cum Document Verification - there is no written examination stage specified in the rule books. MPYPIL may shortlist candidates for Interview cum Document Verification based on eligibility criteria and merit. The final merit/selection list is prepared based on eligibility, qualification, experience, suitability and the Interview cum Document Verification. Shortlisted candidates must bring all original documents supporting eligibility, qualifications, experience, age and category; two sets of self-attested photocopies; two recent passport-size colour photographs; and a copy of the submitted online application form. In case of a tie in final merit, preference goes to the elder candidate; if candidates are of the same age, preference goes to whoever has a higher percentage in the prescribed essential qualification. No candidate is appointed unless found medically fit, based on a certificate from a Government-recognized medical board. The Selection List and Waiting List remain valid for one year from publication, extendable by up to six months at the Appointing Authority's discretion.
