SalarySelected candidates under MP FSL Recruitment 2026 will be appointed on permanent non‑gazetted posts with pay scales as per the 7th Central Pay Commission along with state‑admissible allowances. Pay Scale Details: Laboratory Technician posts carry Level‑7 pay matrix Rs. 28,700–91,300, Laboratory Assistant posts carry Level‑4 Rs. 19,500–62,000 and Laboratory Attendant posts carry Level‑3 Rs. 18,000–56,900. During the initial three‑year period, candidates will receive 70%, 80% and 90% of the minimum of the pay scale in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year respectively as stipend, in addition to applicable allowances as per MP government orders.

Eligibility / Qualification

Laboratory Technician: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Forensic Science or Computer Science or Computer Application from a recognized university. Laboratory Assistant: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (12th) with Science subjects from MP Board or any recognized board/institution. Laboratory Attendant: Candidates must have passed High School/10th or Higher Secondary (old pattern) with Science or 10+2 with Science from MP Board/recognized institution. Age Limit: Applicants should be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years for unreserved male candidates of Madhya Pradesh as on 1st January of the recruitment year, while women, reserved category candidates, government employees, Vikram Awardees and certain inter‑caste marriage cases from MP domicile get upper age relaxation up to 45–50 years as per state rules.

Application Fee

As per the MP FSL Recruitment 2026 advertisement, no application fee is prescribed for candidates applying for Laboratory Technician, Laboratory Assistant and Laboratory Attendant posts. Fee Status: Candidates can fill and submit the MP FSL online application form 2026 through the MP Online portal without paying any examination or application fee, but they may have to bear normal MP Online portal/service charges if applicable at the time of form submission.

Selection Process

The MP FSL Laboratory Technician, Assistant & Attendant Recruitment 2026 selection process will be conducted in two main stages – shortlisting for written exam and a written examination, followed by category‑wise merit list preparation and document verification. Stage 1 – Shortlisting (5x rule): Based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (B.Sc for Lab Technician, 12th for Lab Assistant and 10th/12th for Lab Attendant), a merit list will be prepared and top 5 times the number of advertised vacancies for each post will be shortlisted for the written examination. All candidates securing marks equal to the cut‑off will also be called even if the number exceeds 5x of vacancies. Stage 2 – Written Exam & Final Merit: A 2‑hour written exam of 100 marks will be conducted for each post with 80 marks for subject‑specific General Science and 20 marks for General Knowledge. To qualify, UR/OBC/EWS candidates must score at least 50% and SC/ST candidates at least 40%. Final selection lists for each post will be prepared solely on written exam marks with separate category‑wise lists and implementation of horizontal reservation for women and ex‑servicemen.
