Eligibility / Qualification
Candidate must be an Indian citizen. Candidate must be mentally and physically fit to discharge the duties of the post. A male candidate with more than one living spouse, and a female candidate married to such a person, is not eligible for appointment unless specifically exempted by the government. Selection Process
Selection to Teacher posts is based purely on a competitive written examination; there is no interview. Competitive Written Examination - Offline OMR-based test consisting of Paper-I (General Knowledge) and Paper-II (Subject-specific paper). Document Verification - As per merit and category-wise reservation. Minimum qualifying marks in the competitive exam is 35% for general category candidates; candidates scoring below this are disqualified for the selection process. Negative marking: Each question has 4 options; 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
