Conversion of CGPA into percentage of marks is not permitted to determine eligibility regardless of any conversion formula prescribed by the university. Selection for ISRO URSC JRF 2026 involves an initial screening stage followed by an interview. Meeting the minimum qualification is necessary but does not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for interview - shortlisting is based on academic performance and other parameters in the online application. Outstation candidates shortlisted for interview will be reimbursed to-and-fro Second Class Sleeper Railway fare by the shortest distance from the address in the online application to the interview venue, or non-A/C government bus fare, or actual fare - whichever is less - on production of proof of journey. If a candidate travels by a higher class, only second class rail fare excluding reservation/sleeper charges will be paid.
