Eligibility / Qualification
Eligibility rules are common across all three HAL NATS drives with the key condition being that the qualifying degree or diploma must have been awarded by a recognised university in India on or after 01 August 2021. Candidates who have already undergone, are currently undergoing, or are already registered under a NATS contract elsewhere under the Apprenticeship Act are not eligible. Candidates with work experience of one or more years are also not eligible. Category Essential Qualification Degree/Diploma Obtained On or After Diploma Holders 3-year Diploma in Engineering (courses approved by Directorate of Technical Education – DTE) in the relevant stream 01 August 2021 BE/BTech Engineering Graduates BE/BTech degree in the relevant engineering stream from a recognised university in India 01 August 2021 Non-Engineering Graduates BA / B.Sc. / B.Com / BBA / BCA degree in the subject specified in the relevant stream 01 August 2021 Candidates whose marks are expressed in GPA or CGPA must bring their university's official guidelines for converting GPA/CGPA to percentage. Lateral entry Diploma candidates must produce marks sheets for semesters 3 to 6; regular candidates must produce marks sheets for semesters 1 to 6. For BE/BTech lateral entry candidates, semesters 3 to 8 are required; regular candidates must bring semesters 1 to 8.

Selection Process
Selection for HAL NATS Apprenticeship Training 2026 is based on merit on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no written examination. Selection is also subject to vacancy availability at the time of the walk-in. Candidates report to the venue within the reporting window of 08:00 to 11:00 Hrs on their stream's designated date. Document verification is carried out at the venue. Selection is based on merit and is subject to vacancy.
