Selection Process
(A) Manager / First Division Assistant Step 1 - Written Examination + Interview: Vacancy filling is done through written examination and personal interview. Step 2 - Shortlisting for Written Exam: Online applications are screened based on prescribed educational qualifications and required documents. Eligible candidates are called for written examination conducted by an external government-authorized body. Based on marks scored in the prescribed written examination, an eligibility list is prepared and candidates are called for interview in a 1:5 ratio (15 marks minimum to qualify for interview). Step 3 - Merit List: Written exam marks (minimum 85 out of 100 to qualify) combined with interview marks are totaled to prepare a final merit list (Merit List), following reservation norms for final appointment. Step 2 - Shortlisting: Same process as Manager post - online applications screened, eligible candidates called for written exam by external body, merit list prepared in 1:5 ratio (15 marks minimum for interview). Step 3 - Merit List: Written exam marks (minimum 85 to qualify) combined with interview marks totaled to prepare final Merit List, following reservation norms. Written Examination Pattern for Second Division Assistant - 200 Marks, Duration: 2 Hours, 1 Mark per Question: Sr. No. Subject Marks 1 Kannada Language 50 2 General English Language 25 3 General Knowledge 25 4 Co-operative Subject 50 5 Indian Constitution 25 6 Banking, Social Economics Activities and Consumer Affairs 25 Total 200 (C) Vehicle Driver Step 1 - Written Examination + Interview: Selection is through written examination and personal interview. Step 2 - Shortlisting: Online applications screened based on prescribed qualifications and required documents; eligible candidates called for written exam by external body in 1:5 ratio (15 marks minimum for interview). Step 3 - Merit List: Written exam marks (minimum 85) combined with interview marks for final Merit List; reservation norms followed. Written Examination Pattern for Vehicle Driver - 100 Marks, Duration: 1 Hour, 1 Mark per Question: Sr. No. Subject Marks 1 Kannada Language 50 2 General Knowledge 50 Total 100 (D) Junior Servant Step 1 - Written Examination + Interview: Selection is through written examination and personal interview. Step 2 - Shortlisting: Online applications screened; eligible candidates called for written exam by external body in 1:5 ratio (15 marks minimum for interview). Step 3 - Merit List: Written exam marks (minimum 85) combined with interview marks for final Merit List; reservation norms followed. Written Examination Pattern for Junior Servant - 100 Marks, Duration: 1 Hour, 1 Mark per Question: Sr. No. Subject Marks 1 Kannada Language 50 2 General Knowledge 50 Total 100 Note: Question papers for all posts will be in Kannada and English (Kannada language and General English section excepted). Each question carries 1 mark; there is NO negative marking. Candidates scoring equal marks at written exam will be given preference to older candidates as per Karnataka State Government recruitment rules.
