Selection will be based on the following stages: Stage 1 – Scrutiny and Shortlisting: Applications received by closing date will be scrutinized and candidates shortlisted based on eligibility criteria. Stage 2 – Computer Based Test (CBT) (if applicable): If eligible applications exceed 5 times the requirement, SAIL-BSL may conduct a CBT/Aptitude/General Management/Psychometric Test through an external agency. Minimum qualifying marks: 50 percentile score. Shortlisting for interview will be in a 1:3 ratio on the basis of CBT performance. If fewer than 5 times applications are received, all eligible candidates may be called directly for interview. Stage 3 – Personal Interaction / Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for an interview (physical or virtual mode) assessing relevance and quality of work experience, qualifications, professional/extra-curricular achievements, projects handled, and published articles/books/papers. Minimum qualifying marks for interview (if no CBT): 50%. Final merit list is prepared with CBT:Interview weightage of 80:20. Tie-breaking: higher CBT marks → higher eligibility qualification marks. Travel Reimbursement for Interview: Candidates invited in-person for interview will be reimbursed single to-and-fro 2AC train fare (shortest route) from normal place of correspondence to interview venue, subject to rail/road distance exceeding 30 km each way, on production of documentary proof.
