Essential Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess either a full-time Engineering Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Avionic stream from a UGC/AICTE recognized University/Institute, OR a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) from a DGCA approved organization. These qualifications must be from duly recognized institutions as specified in the notification. Post-Qualification Work Experience: On the cut-off date 25.03.2026, candidates must have either 02 years of work experience as Quality Manager (QM) / Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) in any organization approved for CAR-145 / Sub-Part-G activities, OR 10 years of work experience in the Aeronautical/Aviation industry out of which at least 05 years should be in CAMO of an organization approved for CAR‑145 / Sub‑Part‑G activities. Medical Fitness & Character: The candidate should be medically fit to discharge the responsibilities of Quality Manager and must have a satisfactory service record and character, as verified during selection and engagement. The SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant Quality Manager Aviation Wing Recruitment 2026 selection process consists of a walk-in-interview followed by medical screening, as per the terms and conditions in the notification. Walk-in-Interview: Eligible candidates who meet the prescribed qualification and experience criteria must attend the walk-in-interview on 10th April 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Administrative Building, Ispat Bhawan, Office of Director I/c, Conference Hall, Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand – 827001. Registration for the interview will be open from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM on the same day.
