Eligibility / Qualification
Educational qualification differs post-to-post (see the vacancy table above). Some qualification requirements common across multiple posts include: ANM posts (NHM, MTC, RBSK, NUHM): 10+2 or equivalent with an ANM course recognized by the Government and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), and registration under the Jharkhand Nursing Council. Staff Nurse posts (NHM, NBSU): 10+2/Intermediate with 3 years of General Nursing and Midwifery training from a Government-recognized institution, registered under the Jharkhand Nursing Council. Several technical/supervisory posts (STS, STLS, TB-HV) additionally require a certificate course in computer operations (minimum 2 months) and, in some cases, a permanent two-wheeler driving licence. Preferential/desirable qualifications (such as relevant field experience, NTEP experience, or fluency in local languages) are listed separately for each post in the official notification and are used to give preference, not as mandatory essential qualifications.
Application Fee
General / Other Backward Class / Backward Class candidates: Rs. 400/- per post SC/ST candidates: Rs. 200/- per post The fee must be paid via Demand Draft drawn in favor of "District Rural Health Society, Giridih" (जिला ग्रामीण स्वास्थ्य समिति, गिरिडीह) and enclosed with the application. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application and separate fee for each post.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on marks obtained in educational and technical examinations, and/or a Written Test / Skill Test / Interview, whichever is applicable for the respective post. The final merit list will be prepared and published for one week at the office of the Civil Surgeon/Deputy Commissioner, with notice of publication given through newspapers.
