Eligibility / Qualification

Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on 01-01-2026. All reserved category candidates must be Bonafide Himachalis. Reservation benefits are applicable only to Bonafide Himachali candidates. OBC candidates must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate from competent authority. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBDs/Ex-SM and other reserved categories of HP may apply against unreserved/general category posts but will not be eligible for age relaxation or fee concession in such cases. Candidates must also ensure they are not directly or indirectly a defaulter of their society. Experience certificates must be issued by the concerned Inspector of Society and countersigned by the Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies of H.P. with authentic certification. Such certificate must be supported by: (i) Copy of resolution of the managing committee for initial appointment, and (ii) Copy of relevant pages of statutory audit report/note for prescribed years showing payment of wages/salary from the society account. Educational Qualification Post / Quota Essential Qualifications Junior Clerk (PACS Quota - Trained Secretaries of PACS of HP) (i) Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University (Candidates must have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from a School/Institution within Himachal Pradesh - not applicable for Bonafide Himachalis); (ii) Minimum 3 years continuous service as Secretary as defined in Rule 2(vii) of H.P. Cooperative Societies Rules, 1971 of Primary Agriculture Credit Society; (iii) All employees of PACS covered under definition of "Trained Secretaries" are eligible; (iv) Candidate should not be a defaulter of his/her society Junior Clerk (OCS Quota - Employees of Other Cooperative Societies and PACS employees not covered as Trained Secretaries) (i) Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University (Matriculation and 10+2 from HP school - not applicable for Bonafide Himachalis); (ii) Minimum 5 years continuous service in a cooperative society; (iii) All employees of other cooperative societies and PACS employees not covered under definition of "Trained Secretaries" are eligible; (iv) Candidate should not be a defaulter of his/her society Types of PACS and OCS covered under this recruitment: Quota Type Societies Covered PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies) Cooperative Multipurpose Societies Ltd.; Gram Service Cooperative Societies Ltd. Application Fee

Candidates applying for the post of Junior Clerk are required to pay a non-refundable application fee as specified below. The fee must be paid online through the HPSCB application portal. Selection Process

The selection process for HPSCB Junior Clerk Recruitment 2026 consists of 2 stages - Online Examination (150 marks, 150 minutes, conducted through IBPS Mumbai) followed by Document Verification/Scrutiny. There is no personal interview. Candidates up to 1.75 times of vacant posts will be called for document verification. Final selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit in the online examination after document verification. Candidates must score minimum 40% marks in the online examination to be shortlisted for document verification. Candidates declared successful who do not personally attend document verification will have their candidature cancelled. Stage 1 - Online Examination (150 Marks, 150 Minutes) Sl.
