Selection Process
The selection for HPRCA Recruitment 2026 will be based on the following process: Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Screening Test: Objective type test of 120 marks with duration of 1½ hours (one and a half hours). Each question carries 1 mark. Typing / Skill Test: Mandatory and qualifying in nature for Post Code 26005 (Panchayat Secretary). Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi on computer. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Syllabus Subject(s)/field(s) up to the level of prescribed essential qualification as notified in the advertisement. General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh and Current Affairs. Everyday Science, Logical Reasoning, Social Science, General English & General Hindi of Matric Standard. Minimum qualifying marks: 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/WFF candidates. In case of multiple shifts, scores will be normalised using the Z-Score Method (Mean and Standard Deviation Method).
