Eligibility / Qualification

Educational Qualification 1. Staff Nurse Matric, and A Grade Nurse registered with the Haryana Nurses Registration Council or its equivalent, and Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects, or 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as one of the subjects 2. Ayurvedic Pharmacist Up-Vaidya from any recognized University/Institution/Board/Faculty of Indian System of Medicine, or Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy from a recognized institution, along with 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology Plus Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit, or 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as one of the subjects 3. Clerk Graduate from a recognized University (or, for Ex-Servicemen, pensionable service with a 1st Class Army Certificate, OR a Graduate Certificate issued by the competent authority of Defence Services) Must qualify a written test of language/General Knowledge of graduation standard Must qualify a data entry test at 30 words per minute, including basic computer/internet/email skills Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit, or 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as one of the subjects Must qualify the State Eligibility Test in Computer Appreciation and Applications (SETC) within the two-year probation period (extendable by one year) Age Limit Candidates must have attained 18 years of age and must not be more than 42 years as on the closing date of application (21.08.2026). Age relaxation is available as per Haryana Government instructions: Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of Haryana: 5 years Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 5 years (additional 5 years if belonging to SC/ST/BC/EWS, subject to a maximum of 52 years, for Group A & B posts) Widowed or legally divorced women: 5 years Judicially separated women (residing separately for over two years): 5 years Unmarried women: 5 years Ex-servicemen: relaxation equal to military service rendered, plus 3 years Persons already working on adhoc/contract/work-charged/daily wages basis in a Haryana Government Department/Board/Corporation: relaxation equal to completed years of service, subject to a maximum age of 52 years The overall upper age limit for any category (except Ex-Servicemen) cannot exceed 52 years even after availing multiple relaxations. Nationality A candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India (subject to an eligibility certificate from the Government of India for the latter categories).

Application Fee

Category Application Fee (Rs.) Male candidates of General category (Haryana), Dependent Sons of Ex-Servicemen (Haryana), Male candidates of Backward Classes (Creamy Layer), and all male/female candidates of other States 1,500/- Female candidates of General category (Haryana), including female dependents of Ex-Servicemen 750/- Male & Female candidates of OSC/DSC/BC-A (Non-Creamy Layer)/BC-B (Non-Creamy Layer)/ESM categories of Haryana, and EWS category of Haryana 375/- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) of Haryana with at least 40% disability NIL Fee can be paid through Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card. Once paid, the fee is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against any other exam or selection. Applications submitted without the prescribed fee will be summarily rejected.

Selection Process

Selection Process for Staff Nurse and Ayurvedic Pharmacist Selection is based on a total of 100 marks, distributed as follows: Phase Component Max Marks Duration Phase 1 Written Test (MCQ based) 90 105 minutes Phase 2 Academic Achievements (verified at Document Verification stage) 10 - Written Test (Phase 1) subject-wise question distribution: S. No. Subject Number of Questions 1 Concerned Field/Subject 50 2 Reasoning & Mathematics 10 3 Haryana General Knowledge & Current Affairs 10 4 General English & Hindi 10 5 Basic Computer Knowledge 10 Total 90 There is no negative marking. The post-candidate ratio for shortlisting to Physical Document Verification will be 1:5 in each category, based on combined marks from the Written Test and Academic Achievements. Selection Process for Clerk Selection is based on a total of 100 marks, distributed across three phases: Phase Component Max Marks Duration Phase 1 Typing Test in English (on Computer) 15 10 minutes Phase 2 Written Test (MCQ based) 70 90 minutes Phase 3 Academic Achievements (10th, 12th, Graduation) 15 - Typing Test marking formula: minimum qualifying speed is 30 Net Words Per Minute (NWPM). Marks are awarded at 0.5 per NWPM above 30, subject to a maximum of 15 marks - i.e., (NWPM - 30) x 0.5. Written Test (Phase 2) subject-wise question distribution: S. Tie-Breaking Criteria In case of bracketed/tied candidates, the following order applies: Age: The elder candidate is considered senior Name: If date of birth is also the same, the candidate whose name comes first alphabetically in English is considered senior Father's Name: If the tie still persists, the candidate whose father's name comes first alphabetically in English is considered senior
