Selection Process
There is no written test for this recruitment. Selection is based on percentage of marks (aggregate of all subjects across all years/semesters) obtained in the prescribed qualification, arranged in descending order, subject to meeting the notified eligibility criteria. Preference is given to candidates applying for apprenticeship training for the first time. In case of a tie in marks, the candidate senior in age (date of birth) is ranked higher; if the date of birth is also the same, higher marks in Matriculation are considered. PwBD candidates who avail relaxation in eligibility qualification marks are considered against reserved seats in order of merit within the category, irrespective of their position in the overall select list. Filling of seats is solely at the discretion of management based on candidate suitability; no claim arises if seats remain unfilled due to insufficient suitable candidates. Shortlisted candidates are called for Document Verification based on merit list position and the number of seats in each Trade/Discipline.
