Eligibility / Qualification
Graduate in Agriculture, Commerce, Biology, Economics, or Chemistry with ten years' experience in handling and preservation of agricultural produce in a managerial capacity in a Government Department, Public Sector Undertaking, or a Commercial Organization of repute, on a post carrying pay scale equivalent to Assistant Manager (Quality Control) (PB-2, 9300-34800+4000, Pay Level-6) in the Corporation. Post-graduates require seven years' experience. Preference is given to candidates holding an MBA (Marketing) degree. Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matriculation, or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects. Note: Qualifications for each post are as per the relevant Service Rules. Equivalent qualification claims will not be considered unless specified in the relevant Service Rules.

Selection Process
Generally, HPSC follows a three-stage recruitment process: Screening Test followed by Subject Knowledge Test and Interview. If the number of applications is large, the Commission may shortlist candidates using any one of the following methods: Percentage of marks in the minimum educational qualification prescribed Percentage of marks in different educational qualifications with weightage decided by the Commission Desirable qualifications, if prescribed Higher educational qualifications than the minimum/essential qualification Higher experience in the relevant field than the minimum prescribed Counting experience before or after acquisition of minimum/essential qualifications A Screening Test and/or Subject Knowledge Test The Commission may also decide to hold a Subject Knowledge Test and Interview directly, without a Screening Test. The decision of the Commission on the exam pattern is final and binding.
