Eligibility / Qualification

Educational Qualification and Experience Post Qualification & Experience Administrative Officer MBA (in HR) with 1 year supervisory experience, OR Post Graduate with 3 years' experience (1 year supervisory), OR Graduate with 5 years' experience (2 years supervisory). Experience must be in Administration. Accounts Officer ACA/FCA or AICWA/FICWA or MBA (in Finance/Banking Public Systems Management) with 1 year supervisory experience, OR M.Com with 3 years' experience (1 year supervisory), OR B.Com/BBA/BBM with 5 years' experience (2 years supervisory). Experience must be in Finance and Accounts/Cost Accounting. Purchase & Stores Officer MBA (in Marketing or Materials Management) with 1 year supervisory experience, OR Graduate + PG Diploma in Materials Management (or related subject) with 3 years' experience (1 year supervisory), OR Post Graduate with 3 years' experience (1 year supervisory), OR Graduate with 5 years' experience (2 years supervisory). Experience must be in Purchase & Stores. Key eligibility notes: Graduation/Post-Graduation (other than MBA/ACA/FCA/FICWA/AICWA/PG Diploma in Materials Management) must be First Class with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.3 on a 10-point scale. Only candidates with MBA in the specific stream mentioned for each post (HR for Administrative Officer, Finance/Banking Public Systems Management for Accounts Officer, Marketing/Materials Management for Purchase & Stores Officer) are eligible to apply. Experience must be obtained only after acquiring the essential educational qualification, and must be in the relevant field (Administration / Accounts & Finance / Purchase & Stores) in a government office, public body, or a reputed commercial organisation. Wherever supervisory experience is required, it must be at least at Level 6 (₹35,400-₹1,12,400) of the Pay Matrix or equivalent (E1 grade in IDA scale for PSU employees, or basic pay of at least ₹35,400 for those in a reputed commercial organisation). Candidates should possess good communication skills, leadership qualities, and familiarity with computers. PRL Recruitment 2026 Age Limit The upper age limit is 35 years as on 24.08.2026. Age relaxation is applicable as follows: OBC candidates: up to 38 years (wherever posts are reserved) SC candidates: up to 40 years (wherever posts are reserved) Serving government employees, Ex-Servicemen, and Persons with Disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India orders. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) Only persons suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disability are eligible for age relaxation. Candidates availing age relaxation must submit a Disability Certificate in the prescribed format at the time of interview, issued by a Medical Board of at least three members (one being a specialist in the relevant field), duly constituted by the Central or State Government.

Application Fee

The application fee is ₹250 for all posts. Initially, all applicants - including those from fee-exempt categories (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen) - must uniformly pay ₹750 as application fee. Candidates from fee-exemption categories (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen) will get a full refund of the application fee if they attend the written test. UR/EWS/OBC candidates will get a refund of ₹500 if they attend the written test. The application fee will not be refunded to candidates who fail to attend the written test. Correct bank account details with IFSC code must be furnished while filling the online application in order to receive the refund. All fee-exempted categories except women must upload the relevant certificate (SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen) to get the refund. Payment can be made online via Internet Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI, either immediately after submission or any day before 24.08.2026.

Selection Process

Selection is through a Written Test followed by an Interview. The written test will be conducted only at Ahmedabad (PRL reserves the right to change the venue). To qualify the written test, candidates must secure at least 40% marks in each part of the objective-type test and a minimum aggregate of 50% in the objective test, plus a minimum of 50% marks in the descriptive-type test. Part D (descriptive) will be evaluated manually only for candidates who have qualified in the other three parts. Based on written test performance, candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a ratio of 1:5 (minimum 10 candidates) against the category-wise number of vacancies. Qualifying the written test alone does not guarantee an interview call. Weightage: Written test - 60%, Interview - 40%. Final empanelment: candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks each in the written test and interview, with an overall aggregate of at least 60%, considered in order of merit. The written test is of 2 hours 30 minutes duration. PwBD candidates eligible for a scribe/reader get 20 minutes of compensatory time per hour of examination. PwBD candidates must arrange their own scribe/reader (qualification one step below the minimum required for the post) and submit the required declarations (Appendix II and Appendix III) at least 7 days before the exam date. PRL does not provide a scribe/reader. Accounts Officer: Principles of Auditing, Costing, Balance Sheet reading, Ratio analysis, Auditing, Management Accountancy, Mercantile Law, Banking Practices, Taxation, and Basics of Economics. Purchase & Stores Officer: Material Management, Import and Export Policy and Procedures, Duties and Taxes (Central and State), Inventory Management, Contract Act, Sale of Goods Act, E-procurement, Capital Budgeting and relevant Mercantile Acts.
