Eligibility / Qualification
The minimum eligibility for Assistant Professor (Contractual) is a Ph.D. in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% (or equivalent grade) at the preceding degree, along with a very good academic record throughout. Candidates who have completed their Ph.D. viva voce may also apply. A minimum of two publications in UGC-CARE listed, Web of Science, or Scopus indexed journals is required. If sufficiently qualified Ph.D. candidates are not available for a post, the university may consider candidates at lower remuneration levels as follows: Assistant Professor (Lower Remuneration): Master's degree with minimum 60% in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and qualified UGC NET (or equivalent) in the relevant branch. Lecturer (where NET is not conducted in the subject): Master's degree with minimum 60% at the master's level in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, with very good academic record. Lecturer (minimum qualifying degree): Master's degree with minimum 60% at the master's level in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline; preference given to candidates pursuing a Ph.D. from an Institution of National Importance (INI) or recognized university. Where an applicant holds an interdisciplinary postgraduate degree and Ph.D., the highest degree will be considered to determine the specialization/discipline of the applicant.
Application Fee

Payment confirmation (screenshot/image in JPEG format) must be attached with the application. If applying for more than one post, the fee must be paid separately for each post, even if the school remains the same. The application fee, once paid, is non-refundable under any circumstances. Applications will be treated as incomplete until payment is confirmed by the NFSU Accounts Section.

Selection Process
Selection is through document verification followed by a personal interview. Candidates appearing for interview may be considered for a lower post if found suitable for it. No written exam is mentioned in the notification.
