Eligibility / Qualification

To apply for GUVNL Vidyut Sahayak JE Electrical 2026, candidates must hold a degree in B.E./B.Tech. (Electrical) or B.E. Electrical and Electronics (EEE) through regular mode. The degree must be from a UGC/AICTE-approved university, with no ATKT in the final year or last two semesters and a minimum average of 55% marks in the final year or last two semesters. Educational Qualification B.E. (Electrical) / B.Tech. (Electrical) / B.E. Electrical and Electronics (EEE) - through Regular Mode only. No ATKT (Allowed To Keep Terms) in the last year or last two semesters. Minimum 55% average marks in the last year or last two semesters. Equivalent degrees as notified by UGC/AICTE are also accepted - submission of Equivalence Certificate from the university is mandatory in such cases. Candidates with graded results must submit a university certificate converting grades to percentage (no rounding off permitted). Application Fee

The application fee for GUVNL Vidyut Sahayak 2026 is payable online only through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. Bank charges shall be borne by the candidate. Category Fee (Inclusive of GST) Unreserved (UR) ₹500/- Reserved (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/PwD) ₹250/- No other mode of payment - Demand Draft, Money Order, Postal Order, or Cheque - is acceptable.

Selection Process

The selection process for GUVNL Vidyut Sahayak JE Electrical 2026 consists of two tiers of Computer Based Tests (CBT), followed by document verification and a pre-employment medical examination. The final merit is based entirely on the marks obtained in the Second Tier exam. Stage 1 - First Tier CBT Online Computer Based Test (CBT) - 100 questions, 100 marks. Subjects: Reasoning (15), Quantitative Aptitude (15), English (20), Gujarati (20), General Knowledge (10), Computer Knowledge (20). Question paper in English and Gujarati (except Gujarati-language questions). Negative marking: 1/4 mark deducted per wrong answer. Qualifying marks: 50+ for UR | 45+ for Reserved/EWS/PwD. If held in multiple batches, normalization methodology applies. Stage 2 - Second Tier CBT Candidates qualifying First Tier are eligible for Second Tier. Online CBT - 100 questions, 100 marks - Electrical Engineering only. Question paper in English and Gujarati only. Negative marking: 1/4 mark per wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks: 50+ for UR | 45+ for Reserved/EWS/PwD. Final merit list is based on Second Tier marks. Widow female candidates receive 5% grace marks (of secured marks) in Second Tier only; not applicable if remarried. Tie-breaking: elder candidate preferred → alphabetical order of first name. Stage 3 - Document Verification & Medical Examination Shortlisted candidates are called by respective companies based on roster position. Intimation sent to registered email only. Candidates must meet physical fitness standards as per company rules. Objection Tracker After provisional answer keys are published for both tiers, candidates may raise objections by paying ₹500/- per question online. If the objection is found valid by subject matter experts, the fee is refunded.
