Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of online application (14-05-2026). Only male candidates are eligible. Reserved category benefits are available only to original residents of Gujarat holding valid caste/category certificates issued by competent authority of Gujarat Government. The minimum educational qualification required is SSC (Class 10) pass. Higher qualifications carry additional marks in the merit system. Knowledge of Gujarati is relevant to the post. Application Fee

Selection Process
The selection process for AMC Assistant Fireman Recruitment 2026 consists of 2 successive stages — Physical Standards Check followed by Physical Fitness Test (PFT) — after which a merit list is prepared combining PFT marks and Educational Qualification marks. Candidates who pass the physical standards check will be called for the Physical Fitness Test. Only candidates who pass all four events of the PFT (minimum 10 marks in each event AND minimum 40% aggregate, i.e., 160 marks out of 400) will have their PFT marks combined with educational qualification marks for the merit list. The combined merit list will be submitted to the Staff Selection Committee for further process.
