Eligibility / Qualification

Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions including age, educational qualification, and experience as specified in the Terms of References (TORs) for each post. The age must not exceed the limit specified in the TOR for each post as of the application closing date (26-06-2026). Relevant experience will be counted after attainment of the essential qualification (i.e., experience gained during graduation/post-graduation will not be counted as post-qualification experience). Candidates currently working in WCD, GNCTD will get additional age relaxation based on departmental experience. Computer skills; fluency in English & Hindi. District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) 40 Years Post Graduate degree in Social Work / Sociology / Child Development / Human Rights / Public Administration / Psychology / Psychiatry / Law / Public Health / Community Resource Management (min. 50%) from recognized University; 12th pass with min. 60%; minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Government/NGO in Documentation, Training & Capacity Building, Project Formulation/Implementation, Monitoring & Supervision preferably in Women & Child Development/Social Welfare. Assistant cum Data Entry Operator (ADEO) 35 Years 12th pass from recognized Board (min. 60%); 1-Year Diploma/Certificate in Computer Applications from recognized institute/university; minimum typing speed of 35 Words Per Minute (WPM) in English on computer; minimum 1 year experience in Women & Child Development. Out Reach Worker (ORW) 35 Years 12th pass from recognized school (min. 60%); good communication skills; knowledge of Hindi & English; minimum 1 year experience in Women & Child Development; basic knowledge of computers.

Selection Process

After scrutiny of applications, the list of eligible candidates will be displayed on the Department website (https://www.wcd.delhi.gov.in). Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding. Shortlisted candidates will also be informed through E-mail. The department's notice board and official website shall be referred for all updates. No correspondence will be entertained after the interview decision. Stage 1 – Application Scrutiny & Shortlisting Applications will be scrutinized for eligibility. The list of eligible shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the Department website. Candidates are advised to regularly check https://www.wcd.delhi.gov.in for the latest updates. Stage 2 – Interview Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
