SSB Sub-Inspector eligibility criteria include nationality, age limit, educational qualification and other conditions. All conditions must be fulfilled as on the closing date of application. The SSB Sub-Inspector Selection Process 2026 comprises multiple stages, and only those candidates who qualify each stage as per SSB norms will be considered for final appointment. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Only for Sub Inspector (Communication) – Male: 1.6 km in 6 min 30 sec; Female: 800 m in 4 min. Ex-Servicemen exempted. Physical Standard Test (PST): Height & chest measurement as per category and region-wise standards. Written Examination: Computer Based Test (CBT) of 150 marks (3 hours) – Part-I (General Knowledge, Maths, Reasoning, English/Hindi – 50 marks) & Part-II (Technical Subject – 100 marks). Documentation & Detailed Medical Examination (DME): Verification of documents followed by medical examination as per SSB medical standards. Review Medical Examination (RME): If required.
