Each Young Professional post has its own qualification and post-qualification experience requirement, and candidates applying for any post must also have proficiency in computers along with good writing and communication skills. The details for each post are given below. Young Professional (Legal) First Class LL.B from a recognized University/Institute. One (01) year of relevant post-qualification experience. Young Professional (Finance) CA Inter/ICWA Inter/First Class M.Com. One (01) year of relevant post-qualification experience. Young Professional (Technical) First Class B.E./B.Tech degree in Civil/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electrical/Mechanical/Printing/Paper. One (01) year of relevant post-qualification experience. Young Professional (Cyber Security) First Class full-time B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA degree from a recognized University/Institute in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Cyber Security. Minimum one (01) year of post-qualification experience in Cyber Security.

SPMCIL charges an intimation fee for this recruitment rather than a traditional application fee, and it applies uniformly regardless of category. Here is what the notification states about it. Intimation charges: Rs. 200/- (Non-Refundable), inclusive of GST. Payment must be made online only, using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or UPI. Any transaction charge levied by the bank for this payment must be borne by the applicant. Payment made in any other manner will not be accepted, and such applicants will not be eligible. Applicants paying a lesser fee will also not be eligible, and fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Selection for SPMCIL Young Professional posts is a two-stage process combining an online test and a personal interview, with a fixed weightage assigned to each stage. Candidates need to clear the online test to be eligible for the interview round. Candidates who fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria may be called for an online test. Candidates in the ratio of 1:4 (based on online test performance) will then be called for an interview. The online test carries 75% weightage, and the interview carries 25% weightage in the final selection. The online examination for Young Professional (Legal/Finance/Technical) will be conducted at centers in Delhi NCR only, while the examination for Young Professional (Cyber Security) will be conducted at centers in Delhi NCR and Hyderabad only. Interviews for all four posts will be held at New Delhi. The exact date and session reporting time of the online examination will be mentioned in the admit card, and no request for change of center, venue, date, or session will be entertained.
