Eligibility / Qualification
Deputy Adviser (Medicinal Plants): Master's degree in Botany or Pharmacognosy or Agriculture or Agronomy or Forestry from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent with ten years post qualification experience of working in the areas of research, development, policy, programs and implementation relating to medicinal plants. Assistant Adviser (Botany): Master's degree in Botany/ Pharmacognosy from a recognized University or equivalent with five years' experience of working in the field of development of propagation of medicinal plants, particularly used in Ayurveda, Unani and Homoeopathy. Finance & Administrative Officer: Five years' experience in administration, establishment and accounts matters. Research Officer (Botany): Master's degree in Botany/Pharmacy (with Pharmacognosy as the main subject) of a recognized University or equivalent with two years' experience of identification of drugs and medicinal plants used in Indian Systems of medicine. Assistant Research Officer: Master's degree of Science in Botany or Pharmacognosy or Forestry or Agriculture or Horticulture or Medicinal Plants or Bio Technology or Pharmacy (with Pharmacognosy as a main subject) from a recognized University or institute or equivalent with knowledge of computer operation. Accountant: Senior Secretariat Assistant (SSA) of Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS) in Level-4 with eight years’ regular service and nine weeks training in Cash and Account or equivalent with two years' experience in cash, accounts and budget work.
