Age LimitPost Upper Age Limit Assistant Engineer - RE (E-0 Grade) 40 years Deputy General Manager - RE (E-6 Grade) 44 years Age relaxation, where a vacancy is identified for the category: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for PwBD candidates. Relaxation for Ex-servicemen is applicable as per Government guidelines.

Eligibility / Qualification

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. All qualifications must be from Universities/Institutions recognized and approved in India. Age, experience and qualification will be computed with reference to the last date of receipt of online application. Category (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) selected in the online application cannot be changed later, and no benefit of another category will be admissible afterward.

Selection Process

NGEL reserves the right to conduct a multistage selection process to restrict the number of candidates, which may comprise: Application shortlisting/screening (based on qualification, percentage of marks, years of experience, etc.) Written Test / Group Discussion / Interview, or a combination of these The company also reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria as per requirement. Merely fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting for the next stage.
