Candidates wondering about the NBEMS selection process can note that it differs by post category. For Junior Accountant, Stenographer, and Junior Assistant, selection happens in two stages: a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a Computer Knowledge/Skill Test. There is no interview for Group B and C posts. Stage-I: Computer Based Test (CBT) The CBT consists of 200 objective-type questions worth 200 marks, to be completed in 180 minutes (3 hours). Each wrong answer carries a negative marking of 0.25 marks. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates and 50% for all others.
