(Engg.) in relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks (or equivalent CGPA). Students passing out in 2025 or 2026 are eligible. Candidates who appeared/passed in 2024 or earlier are NOT eligible. Final-year students (exams April–June 2026) can apply if they have 65% till last declared result and secure 65% final by 01.07.2026. Corresponding GATE-2026 Papers Chemical → CH Mechanical → ME Civil → CE Electrical → EE Note: Only Indian Nationals are eligible. No application fee. GATE 2026 Requirement Candidates must have appeared in GATE 2026 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) and must have cleared the exam in the relevant engineering discipline paper (CH / ME / CE / EE) as applicable for the post applied. Candidates who appeared in GATE 2024 or GATE 2025 but not in GATE 2026 are not eligible.

Selection of Management Trainees at EIL will be based on the GATE 2026 score in the respective engineering discipline. The detailed selection process including Group Discussion, Personal Interview or any other stages will be outlined in the detailed advertisement to be released on the official EIL website. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/Persons with Disabilities candidates shall be as per Government of India guidelines.
