Application Fee: ₹100/- (One Hundred only). Exempted Categories: Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, PwBD (Person with Benchmark Disability) & Ex-Servicemen category are exempted from paying application fees. Note: Ex-Servicemen who have already secured employment in civil post under Central Government / Government of NCT of Delhi or its Autonomous / Local Bodies on regular basis after availing of the benefits of reservation given to Ex-Servicemen for their re-employment are NOT eligible for fees concession. Payment Mode: Online payment through SBI e-Pay only. No other mode of payment shall be accepted/considered and payment made shall stand forfeited. Selection Process
The selection shall be made through examination schemes as specified below: One Tier (General) – Post Code 17/26: One Tier exam (I-T-G) of 2 hours duration. Total 200 MCQ questions of 200 marks. Syllabus: General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension, Test of English Language & Comprehension (40 marks each). Final merit will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the written examination. One Tier (Technical) – Post Codes 07/26, 08/26, 09/26, 10/26, 11/26, 13/26, 14/26, 16/26, 18/26, 19/26, 20/26: One Tier exam (I-T-T) of 2 hours duration. Total 200 MCQ questions of 200 marks. Section-A: General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Test of Hindi Language & Comprehension, Test of English Language & Comprehension (20 marks each; 100 questions: 100 marks). Section-B: Objective type MCQs on the subject concerned as per the qualification prescribed for the post (100 questions: 100 marks). Mandatory minimum qualifying marks applicable only in domain subject specific Section-B, not in Section-A. Combined marks of both sections reckoned for final merit list. Two Tier (General) – Post Code 12/26: Two-tier exam (II-T-G). Tier-I (2 hours): 200 MCQ questions of 200 marks (qualifying in nature). Tier-II (3 hours, one session): Part-I MCQ (200 questions: 200 marks) + Part-II Descriptive (75 marks) = Grand Total 275. Part-II: Essay in English (50 marks) + Letter writing/Expansion of ideas in English (25 marks). Selection based on cumulative marks obtained in Part-I & Part-II of Tier-II. Two Tier (Technical-2) – Post Codes 01/26, 02/26, 03/26, 04/26, 05/26, 06/26, 15/26: Two-tier exam (II-T-T2). Tier-I (2 hours): Section-A (100 questions: 100 marks, general) + Section-B (100 questions: 100 marks, subject-related) = 200 marks (qualifying in nature). Tier-II (3 hours, one session): Part-I MCQ (200 questions: 200 marks, subject-related) + Part-II Descriptive (50 marks) = Grand Total 250. Part-II: Essay in English (30 marks) + Letter writing/Expansion of ideas in English (20 marks). In Tier-II, mandatory minimum qualifying marks applicable in domain subject specific Part-I; combined marks of both parts reckoned for final merit list. Marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Test/Exam will be normalized (if required) using the formula published by DSSSB vide Notice No. 10(271)/Sec.Cell/DSSSB/18/989 dated 11.07.2018. Minimum Qualifying Marks: General/EWS: 40%; OBC (Delhi): 35%; SC/ST/PH (PwBD): 30%. Ex-Servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories, subject to a minimum of 30%. Negative Marking: Deduction of 0.25 marks for each wrong MCQ answer of 01 mark. Skill Test / Physical Endurance Test / Driving Test / Trade Test etc. will be taken as per requirement of the job. Draft answer keys of the Computer Based Examination will be displayed on the DSSSB website after the examination. Candidates may submit online objections within the stipulated time limit.
