Junior Technician posts: CBT, followed by a qualifying Trade Test (Practical) at the respective AVNL unit. Merit is decided solely on Written Test marks; the Trade Test syllabus is per Annexure-A of the official notification. Junior Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager posts: CBT, followed by an Interview (50 marks, 15% weightage) assessing technical knowledge, prior work experience, initiative, and decision-making. Merit is decided on combined Written Exam and Interview performance. Senior Manager, Deputy General Manager, Additional General Manager, Consultant posts: No written CBT. Candidates are assessed through Presentation, Experience, Expertise, Knowledge, and Interview, conducted at AVNL CO, Avadi. Candidates qualifying the CBT will be called for Interview (other than Junior Technicians) or Trade Test (Junior Technicians) in a post:candidate ratio of 1:3 in order of merit within each category; the final ratio will be decided by AVNL management based on the number of qualifying candidates. Names of candidates shortlisted for CBT, Interview, or Trade Test, and final selections, will be notified on the AVNL website.
