Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates must fulfil both the educational/technical qualification requirements and the age limit to be eligible for this recruitment. The educational qualifications are mandatory and must have already been obtained before the date of notification - candidates appearing in qualifying examinations or awaiting results are not eligible. The minimum 10th class marks of 50% aggregate is mandatory and the fraction will be applied strictly (e.g., 49.9% will be treated as less than 50%). ITI qualification must be in the relevant trade from a recognised institution. Candidates are not required to wait for their ITI marksheet if already passed - they must have the actual pass certificate in hand at the time of application. Selection Process
The selection of candidates for Act Apprenticeship in SECR Raipur Division and Wagon Repair Shop, Raipur is based purely on merit, with no written examination. The merit list is prepared by taking the average of the percentage marks obtained in both the 10th (Matriculation) examination and the ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both (as per Railway Establishment Rule 201/2017). The minimum eligibility score for 10th is 50% aggregate. Candidates who qualify in the merit list will be called for document verification, where all original certificates must be produced.
